Community Guidelines

Our Community Guidelines were developed to ensure everyone has a positive experience with us and always feel welcomed. Once you register an account on our website, you automatically agree with our Community Guidelines and commit to following them. Everyone is obligated to follow our Community Guidelines and those who violate them will be penalized accordingly by our Community Forums Moderators and Website Administrators.

Our Community Guidelines may be updated periodically. Updated versions of our Community Guidelines will be indicated by an updated revision date located on the top of the page and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to our Community Guidelines, we may notify you by either prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification; however, we encourage you to review our Community Guidelines frequently to be informed of any new guidelines that were recently added.

We are deeply committed to ensuring you have a positive experience with our community. If you have any questions or concerns about our Community Guidelines and how we make sure the environment is as welcoming as possible for everyone, please do not hesitate to contact us by either chatting live with us, sending us a message or an email, or sending us a text here: https://www.theplazacompany.com/contact-us

Section 1. General Guidelines

  1. Be respectful to everyone. Do not treat someone differently based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

  2. No racial, sexual, homophobic, or other discriminatory comments allowed. You will be immediately banned if you make such comments.

  3. Cursing is allowed; however, do not go overboard with it nor direct any curse words to anyone.

  4. Spamming is strictly prohibited. Spamming is defined as reposting the same message more than twice, excessively using caps, or using unnecessary spacing.

  5. Joking about mental illness, including autism, depression, and suicide will result in an immediate three-day suspension of your account.

  6. You are required to have an appropriate profile picture and banner at all times. They may not consist of real-life gore, pornography, promoting or committing criminal activities, or any private information.

  7. Posting pictures, videos, or links that consist of real-life gore, pornography, promoting or committing criminal activities, or any private information is prohibited.

  8. Any method of trolling, depending on the severity of the situation, may result in a permanent ban from our platform. Slightest form of trolling will result in a 24-hour suspension of your account. Do not engage users who are trolling and instead report it immediately here: https://www.theplazacompany.com/report-abuse

  9. Revealing someone else's personal information without receiving their permission to do so is strictly prohibited.

  10. Users are permitted to have no more than one account on our platform. Additionally, you cannot create an account in order to impersonate another person.

We strongly encourage you to protect your personal information from others, including your personal name, email address, phone number, mailing address, national identification number, and other personal identification information. Do not share your account password with anyone! Anyone who asks for your password is attempting to steal your account. Our Community Forums Moderators and Website Administrators will never ask you for your account password.

Section 2. Community Forums Guidelines

  1. Threads must be posted to the correct categories. For example, if you need advice on creating a new game on Roblox, you would post the topic under the Development Assistance category.

  2. Do not create more than one thread regarding the same topic in an effort to increase your chances for a quick reply or more views.

  3. Reposting a topic that a Community Forums Moderator or Website Administrator has removed, locked, or edited is prohibited.

  4. Advertising outside of the Marketplace section of the Community Forums is prohibited. Marketplace includes the following categories: Featured Listings, Services, YouTube, Twitch, Social Media, Discord Servers, and Roblox.

  5. Conspiracies and misinformation are strictly prohibited anywhere on our Community Forums

  6. Creating petitions regarding controversial topics, such as abortion, gun control, privacy rights, religious freedom, and vaccines is prohibited. You are more than welcomed to discuss these topics under the General Discussion category.

  7. You are required to use a descriptive and specific topic name on threads. Do not clickbait nor write your entire post on the topic name section.

  8. Threads regarding the actions of moderation are prohibited. If you disagree with the moderation actions on our Community Forums, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  9. You may not use Community Forums to solicit donations or perform fundraising efforts.

  10. Posting on behalf of others is allowed if you have received their permission to do so, even if they do not have an account on our website.

Exercise caution when posting threads to our Community Forums. Avoid posting any personal identification information and content you would not like to be brought up against you in the future. Even though users are permitted to edit or even delete their own threads and comments, Community Forums Moderators and Website Administrators can, in certain circumstances, view the original thread or comment after being edited or deleted by the user. Anyone can screenshot or copy both threads and comments posted on our Community Forums.

Section 3. Community Groups Guidelines

1. You may not create the following types of groups: criminal or terror organizations, militias, law enforcement or government agencies, military services, advertising, dating, buying, or selling platforms, online gambling hubs, and anything NSFW-related.

2. Groups are required to have an appropriate name, description, and cover image at all times.

3. Group Owners and Administrators are required to enforce our Community Guidelines within their perspective groups. Failure to do so will result in a permanent suspension of the group. Furthermore, we may take moderation action specifically against the Group Owners and Administrators if deemed necessary.

4. You may not add nor invite members to your group unless you have their specific permission to do so. We will permanently suspend any groups who intentionally add or invite members without specific permission to do so.

5. Groups must not impersonate nor untruthfully represent an organization, brand, entity, or public figure. You must make it clear in either the name or description that the group is not an official representation.

6. Recreating groups that a Website Administrator has either suspended, deleted, or edited is prohibited. You are not permitted to change the name of your group unless given permission to do so by a Website Administrator.

7. You may not sell access nor roles within our Community Groups. Furthermore, selling or giving away groups through a sweepstake is strictly prohibited.

8. During the scenario if you were unintentionally added to a private group owned by The Plaza Company, you may not leak out any information nor invite other members to the group. You should instead immediately leave the group or contact either the Group Owner or Administrators to remove you from it.

Site Members are permitted to create their own group on our Community Groups; however, once a group is created, a Website Administrator is required to approve it before being activated. This process takes anywhere between 0-48 hours. You will not be able to add nor invite members to your group until it is approved by a Website Administrator; however, you can still create new threads and comments, in addition to editing both the cover image and description. Remember, you are not permitted to change the name of your group unless given permission to do so by a Website Administrator.

You can set the privacy status of your group to either public, private, or secret. Anyone can view posts and join the group if the status is set public; however, if your group status is set as private, it will appear on the group list and joining requires approval from either the Group Owner or Administrators. You may also set the status of the group to secret, which will not appear on the group list nor will anyone be able to join the group unless either the Group Owner or Administrators invite them. Website Administrators will still have access to view and moderate groups set as secret.

Similarly to our Community Forums, exercise caution when posting content on our Community Groups. Avoid posting any personal identification information and content you would not like to be brought up against you in the future. Even though users are permitted to edit or even delete their own threads and comments, Website Administrators can, in certain circumstances, view the original thread or comment after being edited or deleted by the user. Anyone can screenshot or copy both threads and comments posted on our Community Groups.
